Rita and Mark were married in downtown Livermore. It was a rainy day in October. Their intimate ceremony was held under the gazebo at Carnegie Park, which is also home to a historic museum and art gallery. There was just enough room on the landing for everyone to huddle together and escape the downpour that came sporadically. The rain let up just in time for some dramatic sunset photos downtown near the reception at Uncle Yu’s at the Vineyard. A rainbow was painted across the rooftops as the two explored the courtyards and fountain areas downtown. Little drops of water danced in the wind. Everyone went inside for some amazing Chinese food and tiramisu. It was a beautiful day and I’m so glad to have been a part of it.
