“Hayley took our wedding photos in 2018 in the Carmel/Big Sur area in California. My husband and I did a destination elopement there. I found her by Google and absolutely loved her work. Since we had an intimate ceremony, we really wanted our photos to be within a natural setting. Throughout our correspondence, Hayley was very professional and quick to respond. When it came time to pick an exact site to marry, Hayley went above and beyond. Since we were on the other side of the country, she scoped out a few potential sites with photos. This was super helpful. Unfortunately, we had to pick another site at the last minute due to road construction, but it didn’t matter- everything worked beautifully. Hayley was very easy to work with day of, and our photos speak for this. Prior to getting married, I always heard how important it was to have a great photographer because your photos are truly all you’ll have of that day, aside from memories. 5 years later, I can’t say this to be more true! “Hayley joined us in Yosemite National Park for our destination wedding. She made the entire process easy. Leading up to the event, Yosemite was closed due to fire and she was quick to respond with her thoughts and other locations if needed. Fortunately, Yosemite opened back up and we were able to meet at sunrise (6am!) for photos. My husband hates posed photos and taking photos in general; with Hayley we were able to relax, talk, and enjoy ourselves through the whole process without feeling forced. My husband was thrilled with how laid back it was. Additionally, we had a lot of family photos to take & many options, Hayley went with the flow and took additional shots which I had forgotten to put on the list. The “sneak peak” was posted a lot faster than I had anticipated, which was really exciting! The reason we had chosen Hayley was her ability to take in the view but also not forgetting the main point of the photo & she definitely delivered. “From the moment Hayley responded to my first email, I knew she was the right choice. She’s warm, kind, passionate about her art and so incredibly talented. Hayley met my Fiancé and me at Big Sur (and even showed up a little earlier so we could get some bonus shots at our favorite spot along the river) and she started snapping right away. She’s so organized and seamlessly flowed from one lens to the next, one location to the next, and was very helpful guiding us where to stand. We are not particularly photogenic people (I am part Sasquatch and tend to be a little blurry and awkweird in photos) but Hayley put us both at ease. We just walked through some scenic areas and chatted and she snapped away the whole time. She took over 800 photos, and by the time we were done, we were frozen (our fault for choosing a beach in November) but delighted. Hayley told us our pics would be ready in about a month, but she delivered about a week early! Our photos are “ours,” (no pesky watermark b.s.) and she sent about 75 AMAZING photos. Our hearts just squeed when we saw them. Hayley helped us look great, and not forced, stagey cheesy smiles but natural giggles and joy. She totally captured our love and our energy and matched it beautifully against the settings we chose.
