After a hugely successful 2024 season (most weddings, photo sessions, and revenue to date – woot woot!), the 2025 season has officially begun! A massive thanks to everyone who supports small business. This is not just a part time job for me, it is my full time career. I am very grateful to you all for making it possible. This year marks year 13 in business. I’ll have to do another count of total weddings since 2012; it’s probably hovering close to 350.
Caroline and Simon had their wedding at the gorgeous Sinclair of Skaneateles. From the late 1800’s the building was an old chair factory. Today it is a timeless and breathtaking wedding venue with both indoor and outdoor spaces. Everywhere you turn there is something else beautiful and interesting.
The pair invited all their closest family and friends to celebrate in a winter wonderland setting. It had been snowing a good amount in the days before. The day of the wedding the clouds decided to give way slightly to allow the low hanging sun to peek through. After a first look and family photos, the guests began to arrive. The indoor ceremony took place with an awesome diffused light against the snowy grounds. Natural and ethereal florals adorned the space, giving both a feeling of relaxation and a fantastic aroma. After much cheers and well wishing, the couple celebrated with friends and family by dancing into the night.
I was so happy to be a part of this day. I cannot wait for all the upcoming weddings this year! Lastly I look forward to being back at the Sinclair of Skaneateles for another wedding soon :)
