Taughannock Falls Engagement Finger Lakes Wedding Photographer – Haleigh and Mike had their engagement photos done at the amazing Taughannock Falls State Park. It was a warm summer day. Birds chirped as they flew overhead. We meandered along the river, took some photos in the forest, and of course made it to the base of the waterfall. Their dog Ghosty came along too and was very excited to be involved. The views are stunning and it’s a great place for some adventurous engagement photos. “Taughannock Falls State Park’s namesake waterfall is one of the outstanding natural attractions of the Northeast. Taughannock Falls plunges 215 feet past rocky cliffs that tower nearly 400 feet above the gorge. Gorge and rim trails offer spectacular views from above the falls and from below at the end of the gorge trail. Campsites and cabins overlook Cayuga Lake, with marina, boat launch and beach nearby. A multi-use trail–hiking, cross-country skiing–winds past sledding slopes and natural skating ponds.
